Sequoia Capital Leads Aster Data Systems Series a Funding

Redwood City, Calif. – May 19, 2007 – Aster Data Systems, a Silicon Valley based company addressing fast growing data environments by transforming off-the-shelf, commodity hardware into a powerful, self-managing, and scalable analytic database, revealed it has secured Series A financing led by Sequoia Capital. The company plans to use the capital to evolve Aster's analytic software platform.
